| | | James Hesketh, M.Sc. Chief Executive Officer & President
Mr. Hesketh's primary goal is to increase the value of Atna to its shareholders by focusing on developing positive cash flow from operations and longer term by growing the Company into a low cost mid tier gold producer. This will be accomplished by initially capitalizing on existing assets and longer term through the development of advance stage gold exploration properties or acquisition of operating sites. Mr. Hesketh has a diverse career in the mining industry, with over 30 years in positions covering mining finance, corporate business development, mine operations, mine engineering and consulting with companies including NM Rothschild & Sons (Denver) Inc., Cyprus Amax Minerals Company, Pincock, Allen & Holt, Inc., and Dresser Industries. Prior to Mr. Hesketh's current role, he was President and CEO of Canyon Resources Corporation and sat as a Director on the board of Atna Resources Ltd.

| | | David Suleski, BBA, CPA Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Suleski is responsible for the accounting, administrative and the treasury functions of the Company. Prior to joining Atna Resources, Mr. Suleski was Vice President CFO, Tresurer and Corporate Secretary for Canyon Resources and prior to that he was Assistant Controller and Treasurer for Golden Star Resources. He started his career in public accounting with Arthur Young & Company and Coopers & Lybrand, followed by eight years of experience with Cyprus Amax Mineral Company in positions including Financial Analyst, Administrative Supervisor for the Pinos Altos copper/zinc mine in New Mexico, Supervisor of Metallurgical Accounting at the Miami Smelter, in Arizona and Coordinator of External and Internal Reporting for the Corporation. He has held positions including Division Controller for Pulte Mortgage, Corporate Controller for Apex Silver Mines Corporation and Associate Banker for NM Rothschild & Sons (Denver) Incorporated. David has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater and received his CPA in 1987.

| | | Bill Stanley, B.Sc., MBA Vice President, Exploration
William R. Stanley was appointed Vice President of Exploration in 2004. Mr. Stanley is a mineral exploration geologist with over 30 years experience in the mining industry. While the vast majority of Mr. Stanley's exploration experience is in the Western United States, he has also developed and led international exploration efforts in Mexico, Chile, and New Zealand. Mr. Stanley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, from Central Washington University, a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University, and is a licensed professional geologist in the State of Washington, USA.
Mr. Stanley held increasing levels of responsibility with Homestake Mining Company from 1979 through 1993 and was responsible for several gold deposit discoveries, two of which were commercially viable and placed into production by Homestake. From 1993 through 2000, he was employed by Cyprus Amax Minerals Company as its United States Exploration Manager where he was responsible for exploration in the Great Basin, Alaska, and Mexico. Immediately prior to joining Atna in January 2004, Mr. Stanley was an independent mining consultant providing services to both major and junior exploration firms.

| | | Kenneth G. Mann, B.Sc., Accounting Vice President and General Manager, Briggs Mine
Kenneth G. Mann was appointed Vice President of Atna in May of 2009. Ken has been General Manager at the Briggs Mine since operations restarted in 2008 and has over 33 years experience in the mining industry. Ken has held increasing levels of responsibility at the Briggs Mine during his 15 year tenure at the mine. Mr. Mann started his career as a mine site accountant and administrative manager and has become experienced in all facets of mine operations and maintenance. He has held various positions with Atna Resources Ltd., Canyon Resources Corporation, Echo Bay Mines Ltd., and AMAX, Inc., and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Mesa State College.
